Release Date: Air Jordan 11 Low IE 'Black Cement'
Jordan Brand has revealed an donning one of the most recognisble colourways of all time: 'Black Cement’.
Jordan fans have always been vocal when it comes to chopping up a classic, but Lows in general have seen a new wave of appreciation in recent months, with the leading the charge. That said, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE has plenty of heritage of its own - the low-cut sneaker was worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996 NBA playoffs. The Air Jordan 11 Low IE switches out the 's dress-shoe-inspired patent leather mudguard in favour of a durable leather overlay with mesh cut-outs for breathability.
While ‘’ has featured on the model previously, its the first time the 'Black Cement' colourway has appeared on the shoe. The majority of the upper is dressed in black tumbled leather, with an ‘Elephant Print’ mudguard, a plush grey leather tongue, black laces, and hits of red on the embroidered Jumpman logo and tongue lining completing the top half. The midsoles comes in a white with a visible carbon fibre shank plate under the arch. Finally, an opaque outsole creates a nice point of difference from the colourway's original source.
The Air Jordan 11 Low IE 'Black Cement' arrives at Nike and selected retailers on July 16. Keep locked to the site for the latest updates around this release.
