The Air Jordan 12 Golf ‘Metallic Gold’ Tees Off in Time for the Masters Tournament
and golf will always be intertwined because of love for the game beyond his other interests of basketball and baseball. While his scoresheet on the green isn’t as illustrious as his three stints on court, rest assured that his commemorative golf sneaker game is undefeated. And the upcoming Golf ‘Metallic Gold’ continues that winning run.
Timed to coincide with the upcoming Masters Tournament – one of the major competitions on the golf calendar – this AJ12 is remade for grass use thanks to the screw-in studs delivering slip-free swings for the full 18 holes. And while it’s not recommended, these studs can be removed to reveal the gold-tinged ice sole – which has had its tread reworked to stick to grass more than hardwood – for walking on firmer surfaces.
On the colourway front, the classy all-white leather build has plenty of texture to keep it interesting, making way for the shiny gold accents on the hardware and embroidery. There’s also a dab of green on the insoles and forefoot cap, because of the Green Jacket and all.
Check the official pictures above and expect these AJ12s to be available mid-Masters Tournament, which runs from April 7 to 10.
