The Air Jordan 12 Low Golf Tees Off in 'Taxi'
will always be a performance basketball entity at heart, but it's got plenty of love for the links as well. The , , and many other Air Jordan models have been re-worked into golf-ready options, and the latest silhouette to get in on the festivities is the .
The Air Jordan 12 Low Golf has debuted in a 'Taxi' colourway that adheres closely to the style of the OG from 1996. Made famous by on-court exploits in the 1996-97 season and a advert, its black-and-white style is replicated to a T here, and even accented with signature gold eyelets. There's one clever change in branding, however: the heel tabs replace standard 'Jordan' graphics with a fitting 'Golf' hit.
Of course, the outsole has been altered to meet the demands of golf as well. It features a toothy grip pattern with seven 'discs' that offer a holding point for removable spikes and is done up in glossy black TPU and rubber. The yellow-and-black carbon fibre plate under the arch is present and accounted for, providing a finishing dash of OG detail.
Expect the Air Jordan 12 Low Golf 'Taxi' to arrive on March 11, priced at $220.
