First Look at the Air Jordan 12 'Stealth'
News on this release was originally published on January 11, 2022
Update June 3, 2022: After its release was first announced by a set of mock-ups back in January, we now have our first real look at the Air Jordan 12 'Stealth!' As the above images show, the mock-ups were strikingly accurate, capturing the shoe's blend of a grey tumbled leather base and a pebbled white leather mudguard, all atop crisp two-tone midsoles. The only thing that the mockups didn't nail was the colour of the top two eyestays – but now we know what the finished product looks like! Expect a drop to go down on July 30 for $210, keep it locked here for official images/a where to buy guide as the release draws closer and read the original article below for more info.
Fuelled by the recent regal release (inspired by the highly coveted OG ‘Taxi’ colourway), the looks set to create some buzz in 2022, the underrated silhouette taking a backseat to more popular Jordan models in recent years.
The latest ‘Stealth’ colourway is now scheduled to sneak up on our calendars for the Summer 2022 lineup, the mainline release composed in ‘Stealth’, ‘White’, and ‘Cool Grey’. Maintaining a similar aesthetic to the OG ‘Obsidian’ release, the stealth grey uppers are balanced with white mudguard overlays and rubber soles. Metallic silver eyelets and Jumpman branding completes the design.
Originally launching in 1996, famously laced the Air Jordan 12 during the legendary ‘flu game’ of the 1997 NBA Finals (where he dropped 38 points). It was also the first Jordan model to feature Zoom Air technology.
