Back in 1999, released a honey-hued dubbed the 'Ginger,' and in 2022 they've brought the 'Ginger' back – in traditional mid-top form. Revealed by , this new 'Ginger' is a faithful re-creation of its low-top predecessor, with a few extra inches of height to boot!
The 'Ginger' doesn't feature the world's most intricate colourblocking scheme, but with its bold hues and compelling construction it really doesn't need to. Its 'Light Ginger/Black-White' palette is spread across nubuck quarters, leather toeboxes, mesh tongues, rubberized heel pieces and foam midsole 'teeth,' with classic branded details like a Jumpman-equipped shield, #23 on the heel and small tongue, forefoot and outsole hits making an appearance as well. The Air Jordan line may be all the way up to the now, but from a performance standpoint the AJ 14's combo of a TPU midfoot shank and Zoom Air cushioning still stacks up!
Early reports have the Air Jordan 14 'Ginger' slated for an August 24 release, pending official confirmation from Jordan Brand. It'll retail for a standard $200.
