It’s Official! The Air Jordan 3 ‘Cardinal Red’ is Coming This Month

We’ve been waiting a long time for the Air Jordan 3 ‘Cardinal Red’, after all it was first revealed way back in June of 2021. Ever since those first mock-ups surfaced, there’s been a constant influx of imagery, both on-and off-foot from leakers. Jordan Brand continued the sneaker tease toward the tail end of last year, including them in their delectable preview of the Spring 2022 retro collection.

After the extended six month period of hearsay, leaks, rumours and teasers we can now officially say that the Air Jordan 3 ‘Cardinal Red’ is releasing this month.

Classic Tinker Hatfield-designed AJ3 colour-blocking has reached the upper and uses ‘Cardinal Red’ which is typically known to cover the AJ7. Most of the top half has been composed in tumbled white leather with grey elephant print panelling in all the usual spots and the rich red tone adding some contrast. Rounding out the iteration is the ‘Light Curry’ hits on the Jumpman and forefoot eyestays.
