The Air Jordan 3 ‘White Cement Reimagined’, one of the most anticipated releases of 2023, is finally ready to launch Down Under. First laced by Michael Jordan during the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, the Air Jordan 3 ‘White Cement’ was immortalised the very second MJ took flight from the free throw line.

Thirty-five years later, the Air Jordan 3 and its OG ‘White Cement’ colourway continues to transfix sneakerheads all over the globe, the latest reimagining replete with an aged aesthetic alluding to its long tenure on the basketball court.

Featuring yellowed, faux-aged eyelets, backtabs and classic Nike Air branding on the heels, the model features the indelible elephant print – this time updated to replicate the 1988 original. In terms of cushioning, the Air Jordan 3 utilises foam midsoles and Air sole units in the heel and forefoot for lightweight elevation. Splashes of ‘Sail’ and ‘Fire’ also keep the original composition intact.

Still a superstar in the Jumpman’s contemporary sneaker lineup, the Air Jordan 3 was originally designed by Tinker Hatfield and famously coincided with Michael Jordan’s first MVP nomination.
