The Air Jordan 36 Low ‘Multicolour’ Works With Everything
The may be taking over soon as the latest flagship, but its predecessor proves it still has some fuel left in the tank. This low-cut variant is coming soon in ‘Multicolour’ glory, adding a pop of pizzazz as the model enters its twilight period.
In relative terms, the panelling of the AJ36 is somewhat minimalist, in that each section is quite large and single layered. This provides plenty of real estate for the namesake multicolour application to really shine through. There’s a mixture of teal, yellow and red peeking out among the otherwise black upper. It gets more vibrant towards the toe box, revealing its complete mesh construction. The rainbow theme becomes most apparent at the midsole trim as its edging shows off an iridescent strip.
Of course, the multitude of colours doesn’t compensate for any lack of performance – there’s still all of the same tech packed inside. Full-length Zoom Air is directly connected under the foot, and the forefoot has an additional Zoom unit for dual-layered springiness. Not to mention the old-school analogue lace toggle that is a direct reference to the that the AJ36 derives some of its styling from.
The Air Jordan 36 Low ‘Multicolour’ will arrive at select retailers on July 28.
