The Sleek Air Jordan 4 'Oxidised Green' Lands at JD Sports Soon

Next to hit the shelves of JD Sports Australia is the ‘Oxidised Green’, which takes a similar approach.

The AJ4 ‘Oxidised Green’ blends elements of past Air Jordan 4s to create a modernised take on the 1989 classic. The entire upper is constructed with crisp white pebbled leather, which is then also taken onto the leather wings, replacing the usual TPU. This switch isn’t seen all too often, but it has featured recently on the ‘Metallic Gold’ and that have both released this year. The titular ‘Oxidised Green’ stands out against the cool tones of the leather, hitting the eyelets, quarter panel, midsole, liner, and Jumpman branding. A pearlised candy paint job has been applied to the green on the midsole and wing eyelets to add some extra shine and nod to the oxidised name. The finishing touch is the ‘Sail’ midsole, which gives a slightly aged look to an otherwise modern design.
