The Air Jordan 5 ‘Reverse Metallic’ Shines Bright at JD Sports This August

Dubbed the ‘Reverse Metallic’, this OG-leaning iteration takes obvious design inspiration from the ‘Black Metallic’. Unlike the original pair, which released in February of 1990, the ‘Reverse Metallic’ opts for a full white upper. It’s also not crafted from mostly suede, and instead chooses a smooth leather base layer. An interesting addition is the milky mesh placed in the mid foot, which exudes a subtle vintage vibe when paired with the off-white outsole. Adding the signature 90s touch is the speckling on the midsole and greyed-out tongue that hosts the AJ5’s signature reflective details. Rounding out this stellar new colourway is the classic Jumpman branding scattered throughout.
