Air Jordan 6 (Alternate)
UPDATE: The 'Alternate' Air Jordan 6 is nearly here – and as we count down the days to its release, we've got a great look at the shoe courtesy of Finish Line. We're even getting to see something we hadn't seen before in previous images: the '1991' stitched behind the tongue, which is presumed to be a reference to MJ wearing Jordan 6s while playing for the Chicago Bulls that year. The sneaker will be stocked on Finish Line shelves on March 11.
UPDATE: Originally tipped to be an adaptation of the 's mighty '' colourway, fresh information has confirmed this release to be the next 'Alternate' entry in the Air Jordan line. A slight tweak of the Air Jordan 6 '' colourway, you can expect these to release in 2017, shortly after the release of the recently-revealed .
The Air Jordan 6 'Alternate' will hit and select Swoosh stockists on March 11.
Pictures have emerged of an in a colourway that looks to be the same combo as the famous '' iteration. The sculpted panels of number six in the line have been made up in a mix of micro-perforated white leather and light grey durabuck. With a makeup similar to the ‘’ of 2015, the tongue and heel accents blaze in red. The underside of the tongue bears an embroidered ‘1991’ which is believed to be a reference to the original release date of the model.
Details are still a little sketchy in regards to the Air Jordan 6 ‘Hare’ with no official information as yet. We’re sure it will all come to light shortly. Stay tuned.
