The Nike Air Max Plus ‘Sunburn’ Is Making a Surprise Return

Although, despite its aggressive look and infamous reputation, the TN is a cult classic from Team Swoosh’s line and has garnered a dedicated fan base. Across the countless number of colourways, there are many that stand out, including the sizzling hot ‘Sunburn’.
Slated to make a surprise return this week, the ‘Sunburn’ initially released at Foot Locker in 2015. The upper exuded the look of the mid-2010 TN, boasting a crisp white mesh base, toe cap, mudguard and outsole. The Veins rocked a smooth gradient, transitioning from red to yellow alongside a complementary 7-bubbled unit down below that housed the same finish.
If you’re looking to cop an original pair on the secondary market, be prepared to pay well above the retail price. But if you’re located in Japan – you’re in luck! Retailer atmos have loaded these bad boys onto their releases page with a drop slated for October 12.
Rumours have been floating round for a while that the ‘Sunburns’ were receiving a 2022 retro, so we’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled for any word on the global drop!
