Nike's Icy Air Max Sunder ‘Obsurca’ Is Coming to the Nordics
Having been pulled from the archives earlier this year, the has quickly established itself as one of the Swoosh’s most exciting silhouettes. The model has already resurfaced in some of its , as well as in a weatherproof , but its freshest iteration is still yet to come with the icy-hued Air Max SNDR Obscura. Inspired by the snowy Nordics and available exclusively in that region, the pair touches down later this week, so here’s the info you need to get warmed up ahead of the release.
Influenced by cold Nordic landscapes and tales of trepidation, the ‘Obscura’ Air Max Sunder is primed to trek off the shelves and onto the grid of every Instagram moodboard going. Here, have swapped out the SNDR’s usual neoprene upper for a layered textile one, which sports a geometric pattern that highlights the short days and polar nights. In addition, the model features reflective details that take cues from charged solar particles, which collide to produce the Northern Lights. Finally, stealthy black accents arrive on the shroud and pull tabs, and a black sole unit adds a practical finish.
