Alexander Mcqueen X PUMA Black Label (Fw13)
Alexander McQueen's quirky spirit is alive and well in his company's , and this latest effort uses a real life narrative as a source for design inspiration. The adventures of Robert Falcon Scott, a British explorer who died on his way to the South Pole in the early 1900s apparently influenced the new range, which definitely has a wintry feel to it. Tough leathers cover the uppers and lining, and there's even a chunk of puff stolen straight from a snow jacket slammed on a boot high-top. There's no iced out soles though! Opportunity missed? The full collection will drop later this year. Pics via .
