The sophomore collaboration between Andersson Bell and , the high-octane duo are now taking on a special edition HN2-S PROTOBLAST inspired by Indiana Jones, Jaws and Batman.
Extending the hiking vernacular of their previous collaboration, the model comes equipped with heavy-duty metal fasteners and branded metal studs – a lynchpin of mountaineering boots.
Manufactured in a breathable mesh base and patent leather overlays, the silhouette is given extra personality by a boomerang-shaped cushioning piece integrated into the midsoles.
Arriving in a trio of colourways, the Seoul-based fashion imprint shared some insights behind their film-inspired design. ‘Each of these worldviews leads to a fact that they are actually one island in one world’, Andersson Bell writes in the description. ‘We live in a world where many parts have become digitised. This project started with our aim not to show contents that exist only in the digital world and do not exist in reality. We wanted to show real contents that are painstakingly created one by one with analog sensibility.'
