Andrea Lieberman Explores New Ways To Wear Nike's Cortez
Andrea Lieberman might not be a big name in the sneaker world, but she’s influenced sneakerheads in one weird, awesome way. A stylist-turned-designer, Lieberman is responsible cloaking Jennifer Lopez in the green Versace dress that Eric Schmidt says inspired him to make Google Search. (A tool that was instrumental in stalking kicks in the early 2000s.)
More recently, she’s worked with on a colab that explores a new way to wear the . Along with a premium build, embossing, heel detailing and custom insoles, she’s given the retro runners extra-long laces to wrap around the ankle or further up the calf. The end result makes for a modern, sporty take on the gladiator sandal and a street take on a ballet slipper. It's strange, new and we like it.
