The Apartment Tokyo Bring Their Touch to the New Balance 576
Cultural exchange is at the forefront for the Apartment, as New York City has heavily influenced their style and what they carry. The Tokyo-based retailer have meticulously sourced their high-quality inventory, where GSM and weight matter more than the label itself. have taken notice and linked with the retailer on two colourways of the , dropping later this week.
The two-colourway collection is crafted from New Balance’s Flinby factory, using quality leather and materials. Dropping in ‘Brown’ and ‘Agave’, the former takes from New York’s brick and asphalt as inspiration and the latter from agave titanota, a popular succulent plant in Japan. The 'Brown' has grey long-haired suede on the base, with soft brown and veg tan leather used on the overlays and accents. The ‘Agave’ colourway on the other hand has a cream leather base, with white and green accenting. Both colourways feature the Apartment and New Balance co-branding on the tongue, and a tri-coloured midsole is used for both sneakers as well.
