The Whitaker Group’s has teamed up with HBCU Florida A&M University on two colourways of the , which are dropping later this month.
and signed a six-year deal last summer to be the first LeBron-sponsored school which, of course, includes some PEs. Although the Whitaker Group has had collaborations with a variety of brands in the past, this is the first collaboration between APB and the Swoosh, with a spotlight on FAMU’s importance and significance to the city of Tallahassee and the student body.
Dropping in two colourways, Ivory and Orange, the sneaker features a leather upper with faux snakeskin seen on the overlaid Swoosh. A&M branding is stitched on the heel with the FAMU Rattlers logo seen on the right insole and APB branding on the left. The Cushlon midsole features a bottom-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel and a top-loaded Turbo Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for a plush and responsive ride.
