UK-Based Apron Records Has a Nike Air 180 Colab
The franchise has always had a close connection to many musical subcultures, including , and . have recognised these connections on more than one occasion by creating music-inspired colourways and engaging in collaborations and they're running it up again via a project with Apron Records. Steven Julien, artist and the label’s founder, has teased their linkup on his socials, and it’s one of the most eye-catching we’ve seen in a while.
Apron Records was formed in 2014 by Julien, and they have released records and held plenty of events across the globe including their 10th anniversary party in Naples last year. This won’t be their first venture into the fashion universe either, as they collaborated with Patta back in 2022 creating a compilation album with multiple artists. For their Nike collaboration, Apron Records have covered the Air 180 in a shaggy fabric complete with black overlays and various co-branded details including a dubrae shaped like a razor. Completing the design is the specialised box and fuzzy laces.
