A$AP Nast Dropping New Reebok Classic Leather Legacy Colab

After announcing his partnership with Reebok late last year, esteemed multidisciplinary performer A$AP Nast will soon be releasing a new collaborative colourway of the Classic Leather Legacy. This updated take on the definitive Classic Leather has been an occasional conduit for high profile colabs, such as that with PLEASURES, and each subsequent release (22 colourways are currently available from Reebok’s website) has been unique. As is Nast’s, which explores the use of multiple panels mixed across the CL Legacy’s layered upper.

Despite the word ‘Leather’ clearly being in its name, this Classic Leather Legacy introduces ‘Sandy Taupe’ coloured twill fabric across the toe box, tongue, and mid quarters. This brief material interlude breaks up the otherwise adherence to the material story, which continues more tan shades of nubuck and suede on the outermost panels. An additional layer of dark brown leather on the lower mudguard and striping adds extra depth. Pastel-toned ‘Crisp Purple’ accents line the loop eyelets, heel counter underlay, and tongue throat.

A$AP Nast leaves his literal mark on the lateral branding windows and insoles. Exposed tongue foam, two-toned elevated midsoles, and tonal rubber outsoles complete the comfort package.

The A$AP Nast x Reebok Classic Leather Legacy will release via Reebok and selected retailers on April 2.
