Monstrous Evolution: A$AP Rocky Creates 3D-Printed PUMA Mostro

The has made a monstrous comeback in recent years. Buoyed by the Y2K nostalgia running roughshod over the market, the Mostro has been revisited by everyone from streetwear enigmas to The Big Cat are once again tapping in their collaborative kingpin to debut a brand new 3D printed version of the 1999 wildcard, with the in-your-face visuals ostensibly taking inspiration from the chaotic run of custom jobs seen on the Mostro. Utilising a resin-based 3D printing process, the one-piece Mostro is replete with spiky Halloween-esque details that’ll no doubt inspire plenty of ‘fits in the coming month. A slip-on style model with honeycomb ventilation throughout, the Mostro is no doubt one of the more visceral models to appear yet from the whizbang 3D printers. It’s almost like the Mostro’s signature spiky outsoles have been given a growth hormone and mutated across the uppers.

Coming in black and red, the latter actually looks like it's been crafted from volcanic rock, with the charred composition bringing a hellish vernacular to the turn-of-the-century cult favourite. The black opts for a slash of toxic green across the Formstrips, altogether giving the impression of a tagged subway or inner city scrawl.
