The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Goes for Gold
The has been a triumphant force in the sneaker industry in recent years. Cashing in on the nostalgic Y2K aesthetics blazing a metallic path across various brands, the Kayano 14 was one of the purest representations of teched-out, kinetic runners, with numerous boutiques lining up for collaborations.
But even if you can’t get your hands on coveted colabs with the likes of Canada’s elusive imprint, ASICS are providing sneakerheads with a vault of stellar colourways to get your millennial bug fed. The latest batch to arrive includes this supersonic metallic gold composition, the leather and mesh construction toned down by muted grey overlays.
The first sneaker in the Kayano series to be designed by someone other than GEL godfather (Toshikazu Kayano), the modern Kayano 14 incorporates all the technical know-how of its predecessors, including Trusstic System technology in the sole alongside the signature GEL cushioning.
