This ASICS GEL-Lyte III OG Has a Hint of Lilac

The ASICS GEL-Lyte III has been having an epic 2022, it’s been subject to plenty of heater collaborations and exclusive colourways that have injected the decades old model with plenty of hype. This week alone, Awake NY and PLEASURES have revealed their GLIII endeavours, reworking the OG shape to execute their vision. Alongside all the special editions and linkups is also a strong GR offering, comprising of tonal colourways and epic material selection. ASICS’ latest is available now and been dubbed ‘Lilac Hint’ after the subtle use of the purple tone.

The base layer on the uppers of the ‘Lilac Hint' features perforations that extend from the toebox to the tongue and heel. Towards the midfoot, the tiger stripes and panels have been dressed in alternating khaki and lilac tones with front and rear deep purple shaggy suede. Elsewhere, the midsole boasts the classic two-tone effect with more purple reaching the middle on a white background. The usual branding touches have graced the rear and lateral heel.
