As the year comes to a close, the pair have turned their focus to one of ASICS’ most heralded heavy hitters, the , for a glow-in-the-dark drop dubbed the ‘Tapetum’.

Taking its name from the biological element that allows certain mammals' eyes to shine in the dark, the ‘Tapetum’ ASICS GT-2160 keeps things simple and (unsurprisingly) lets its reflective elements do the talking. Therefore, the silvery overlays are set on top of a stealthy black base, coming to light when the sun goes down with their potency dependent on the angle at which the light hits the upper. Not distracting from the theme, extra details can be found in the tonal GEL capsules on the sole unit, as well as the camo-printed insoles inside.

The colab also rounds off a year of huge GT-2160 releases, with the model acting as a canvas for the likes of , and to name just a few.
