UPDATE: If there were to be a fourth member named in this atmos x Nike x Jordan Brand collaboration, that person would undoubtedly be . Responsible for the debut of the Air Safari in 1987 as well as the birth of Visible Air in the same year with the creation of the , the footwear maestro then went on to design the Air Jordan 3 in 1988 – just another reason this pack is a perfect pairing.
A couple of official images have now been released by the Swoosh. Care of , we also now have a close-up look at this package, giving as a far more detailed look at what to expect and revealing a few more special details in the process – namely the '03/26' tag stitched behind each tongue.

Rumours had recently spread throughout the sneaker community that an x was on its way and now, at last, the collaborative has finally been revealed by way of a sneaky leak.
With atmos having utilised the distinctive 'elephant' print from the Air Jordan 3 for their 2007 , the Japanese sneaker chain has returned the favour by equipping the AJ3 with the animal-inspired print and hints of colour found on their 2003 . 'Safari' print adorns the toe and heel mudguards in place of the AJ3's traditional elephant print. 'Tennessee Orange' can be found on the eyelets, sole and behind the tongue, while the Nike Air at the heel is rendered in 'Jade'. The shoe appears to be made from black nubuck and sports a translucent outsole.
The release looks to be connected to , releasing in a twin pack with a special make-up of the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 'Elephant'. Having won 2016's Air Max Day vote, the crackle-coated Max had already confirmed for , though the pair in this package sports some differences from the individual release. The insole features an elephant print graphic and the outsole has been made translucent black, with a golden Jumpman visible at the toe – one of the very few times that a Nike shoe has ever featured Jumpman branding outside of Jordan Brand. We'll need to wait for the official word to find out if there are any further differences between the two versions. The shoes come boxed together in special packaging featuring both of the distinctive animal prints.
None of the collaborators involved have made an official comment on this special-edition package, but rumours suggest a release on Air Max Day itself – March 26.
