Avery Announce Release Details For the 'Ambition' Sneaker

There's a new imprint on the sneaker scene, and in case you missed it, it's called Avery. Founded in 2020 by Leon Avery as a mid-pandemic labour of love, Avery converted his savings for a house deposit into a budget for his dream project.

Now they are gearing up to officially release the debut 'Ambition' sneaker! A premium high-top style, the devil is all in the details on these, featuring nubuck leather uppers, elastic tongue gussets, microfibre eyelet backing and extra thick cushioning. You'll also notice the interesting insoles, which actually have 100 names of Avery supporters printed inside. And because everyone loves a special release box, they also come complete with a magnetised box constructed in Glasgow.

Avery has kept his community close throughout the lead-up to the release date, on this, he said, 'I’d decided to share what I’d learned throughout the journey publicly, with a strong degree of transparency, from both a “behind-the-scenes”, and financial standpoint. This encapsulated everything from open mold outsole sourcing and production at the sole surviving UK last manufacturer, to appealing to IPO lawyers for existing trademarks.' As such, a number of elements were community-sourced, from box colour, to release date, and so on.

The Avery 'Ambition' sneaker will become available to buy on July 29 at 8am GMT, exclusively via the brand's web store.
