AVNIER and Salomon's Duo of XA Pro 3D Colabs Grab Gum Details
Fresh off the release of their new sneaker, have grabbed Parisian label AVNIER to create a duo of gum-adorned takes on the XA Pro 3D. Following up the duo's 2019 and 2020 re-workings of the S/LAB XT-5, this XA Pro 3D marks their third total collaboration, and first on a model beside the XT-5.
Salomon are usually known for boisterous colour schemes full of technical details and vibrant colours, but AVNIER are following their own ethos on the popular trail runner, equipping it in low-key black/silver and white/silver colour schemes. Both of these are given a healthy dose of lifestyle flair with gum (officially called 'Tobacco Brown') midsoles, outsoles, mudguards and toe caps, plus contrasting branded strips that run down the throat under the signature QuickLace system.
Of course, there's plenty of other tech to be had here as well, with features like a 3D Advanced midsole chassis, an all-terrain Contagrip outsole, EnergyCell foam cushioning, a SensiFit™ upper and moulded OrthoLite insoles. If technical jargon isn't your thing, you can just say that these are more than ready to pound the streets or the trails – wherever your adventure takes you!
Expect the AVNIER x Salomon XA Pro 3D to release on April 14. It'll be priced at $160.
