BAIT X Breaking Bad X Clarks Wallabees

Pop culture-related sneakers have started to become more commonplace in recent years, but never have they made more sense than this official Breaking Bad collaboration from  and West Coast retailer . The award-winning AMC drama chronicled the transition of Walter White, a meek high school teacher played by Bryan Cranston who decides to 'break bad', evolving into the meth kingpin Heisenberg. Through the course of the series, almost every aspect of Cranston's character changes, from his hairstyle to his demeanour. However, there is one aspect of the character that remains consistent throughout – his love for Clarks .

Worn throughout the series, from the very first episode, right through to the series' final shot, the Wallabee remained Walt's footwear of choice. In tribute, BAIT have delivered two different make-ups of the Wallabee. The first, dubbed 'Blue Sky' and limited to 400 pairs, features a light blue suede upper with dark blue sole and is themed after the series' signature 'Blue' – aka Walt's distinctive blue crystal meth. The second colourway, named 'Felina' and limited to just 250 pairs, features a deep red upper and gum sole. The said to be a tribute to the bloody showdown in the series' finale of the same name. Both shoes features full-grain leather hang tags with tri-branding from the collaborators.

Both colourways of BAIT x Breaking Bad x Clarks Wallabees will release on the evening of March 23, exclusively in-store at BAIT's Melrose. The 'Blue Sky' make-up will be available through other BAIT chapter stores on March 24. The remaining pairs of both make-ups will be made available through BAIT's website via raffle.
