BAPE Are Back with Damian Lillard for the adidas Dame 9

It’s been a long hiatus for and Japanese streetwear stalwart – half a decade in fact. Previously collaborating on the x BAPE for All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, the Bucks sharpshooter is now back with another BAPE remix for his tenth signature silhouette, the adidas Dame 9. Previously teased during All-Star Weekend earlier this year in Indiana, the adidas Dame 9 features the patented BAPE camo, although the shark tooth print – featured on the Dame 4 – is this time conspicuously absent. The indelible ape logo is emblazoned on the medial heels and the emblem strikes the heel.

For its part, the adidas Dame 9 features a sleek, futuristic build in-line with adi’s broader signature line like the Harden Vol. 8 and crowd favourite Highlighted by a raised mudguard that’s stamped with the Three Stripes logo at the lateral toe, the model also features three cut-outs at each side of the midsole. Built with textile uppers reinforced with synthetic overlays, the Dame 9 enhances breathability via the mesh ventilation panels. The neoprene bootie also ensures a snug fit for on-court action.
