Vans Tap BAPE for Second Collaborative Collection
Last year, legendary SoCal label and Japanese streetwear behemoth linked up for their and while geographically far apart, they're both titans of the industry that just mesh well together. No stranger to collaborative efforts with legacy Japanese brands, and have been prominent Vans partners.
Back at it again with BAPE for another collection, they're once again reworking the , an , as well as a small stack of apparel.
Unlike their previous collection the pair decided to go loud, especially on their SK8 Hi! The whole top half has used the skate-ready silhouette tooling to the max, mismatching each panel with ABC camo in plenty of colours, Vans’ signature checkerboard print and bright tones. Still loud, but slightly more subdued, the Old Skool opts for a full tonal green look with combo side panels. A white side stripe, laces and midsole round them both out.
The second BAPE x Vans collection including the SK8-Hi, Old Skool and two T-shirts will arrive on shelves on February 26 via BAPE and Vans locations.
