Beyonce’s Next Ivy Park x adidas UltraBOOST Joins the Navy
It hasn’t felt that long since the last x collaboration but, lo and behold, it was all the way back in February of this year. The has been a consistent model in the project, which was last rendered in creamy white. This time, the popular runner-slash-street-shoe is plunged in navy blue.
Tonal UBs are often the more popular and wearable colourways, and the Ivy Park versions have some special features to distinguish them from the general releases. Bey has added some extra hardware to make the UB even more user-friendly, such as scout-knotted rope loops on the heel counter for easier access, heat-shrunk lace ends, and a toggle cinch for knot-free wear.
The rest of this UltraBOOST retains all of the components that have been delivering comfort in the age of technology. Expect full-length BOOST soles paired to rubber tread supplied by adi long-term partners Continental, while stretchy and breathable Primeknit uppers keep the sock-like fit a success. Like previous Ivy Park colabs, an oversized lanyard is included as an accessory. It also appears a second set of flat shoelaces is included, though that means having to snip off the default laces to swap them out.
The next Ivy Park x adidas UltraBOOST will release at select retailers on August 20.
