Release Date Announced: Blondey x adidas A.B. Gazelle Indoor

Update March 30, 2022: Alongside the Blondey x adidas A.B. Gazelle Slate/Gum dropping on April 2 via the CONFIRMED app – there will also be a Miner Blue/Core Black/Silver pair. The release date for the latter is April 20 via Blondey's – followed by a wider release through adidas on April 22.
When skater, designer, model and devotee of beans on toast revealed his colab with back in January, he described it as a 'bastard child born of a cantankerous four-way between a Gazelle Indoor, an , a Wensley, and, naturally, a .' Now, with the model set for a retail release and an official set of images surfacing, we have a clearer look at just what he meant.
McCoy's special take on the is a nod to British terrace culture, one that mixes traditional European sportswear with a dash of high-end flair. Its black upper, extremely trim in shape, is built of heavy-gauge ripstop that's overlaid with high-gloss nubuck on its T-toe, midfoot stripes and eyestays. His name also replaces the standard hit that would be seen on the midfoot.
The detailing doesn't stop though, as down below the Gazelle's standard midsole is discarded in favour of a gum rubber iteration that's pulled from the Indoor Super. An all-surface traction pattern lends itself well to the rigours of skateboarding, and a rubber insole with -inspired tread rounds off the look.
