Bodega and BEAMS Get Preppy on the adidas Adimatic and Campus

Mid-century Japan: the preppy and formal style of Ivy League students begins to infiltrate as Japanese youth adopt Ivy Style. Now, East meets West again as Boston and LA retailer Bodega tap Japanese retailer and label BEAMS for a collaborative collection, drawing this time on adi’s Adimatic and Campus silhouettes.

The chunky Adimatic features an all-suede construction with cream on the base and Kelly Green for accenting throughout. The Three Stripes and adi branding on the heel appear in Kelly Green, too, while the shoe’s tongue tag features co-branding that showcases all three parties. The White midsole sits on top of a gum outsole to finish off the sneaker.

The adidas Campus uses a hairy suede upper in dark grey, cream on the lateral Three Stripes, and brown on the medial. Traditional Gold Foil branding on the tongue tag and heel comes correct on the lateral side. Meanwhile, the medial side shows off Bodega and BEAMS branding stitched between the Three Stripes. Green appears on the liner, with brown seen again on the heel tab, while the cream midsole and outsole tie a bow on the sneaker.

The Bodega x BEAMS x adidas collection is set to drop on March 10, 2023, via bdgastore.com. The Adimatic is set to retail for $110, with the Campus coming in at $130. An Ivy Style-inspired collection is also set to drop alongside the sneakers above.
