Brain Dead and Converse Unite for Chuck 70 Colab
first began applying graphic patterns to the back in 1983, so when it came time for Los Angeles—based creative collective to put their stamp on the , they looked no further than that heritage. Led by founders Kyle Ng and Ed Davis, Brain Dead opted for asymmetrical pattern-blocking throughout the high-top and utilised everything from zebra stripes and camouflage to leopard spots and the American flag.
'People always expect us to do graphic work,' says Ng. 'We wanted to take a more conceptual approach with Converse. Set to be joined by a corresponding range of apparel and accessories, Brain Dead's Chucks drop October 26 at select Converse retailers worldwide.
