Launch Imminent: Brain Dead x Oakley Factory Team Drop 3

Beginning their partnership in 2022, the x collaboration continues to produce mind-melting futuristic footwear. Originally launched with the reintroduction of Oakley’s model (which itself debuted in the early 2000s), the relationship has seen Brain Dead rework several classics, including the Mule and Flesh Sandal.

The latest Spring Summer 2024 collection includes a veritable bounty of footwear, including remixes of the Flesh, Chop Saw Mule, Flesh Sandal and Slide. Known as Drop 3, the collaboration again revolves around techno-utopian ideas and architecture, all while fusing organic design principles.

Featuring a Paguro Slide in ‘Charizard Red’, it’s not hard to discern the influence here, with a smouldering gradient slowly transitioning from a fiery red at the toe to bright orange on the heels. Elsewhere, the piping hot aesthetic continues with the Flesh Sandal ‘Lava’, the model this time combining red suede panels with black mesh and neoprene base. Rounding out the collection is the Flesh Sandal in ‘Caviar’ and Chop Saw Mule ‘Celery’ – just in case you get hungry.
