Bricks & Wood Link Up with New Balance on 'A Different Bounce' Collection

have been working with for a couple of years now, most recently hitting up the with a colourful design inspired by the Madagascan Sunset Moth. Before that, the LA-based imprint had worked on other lifestyle silhouettes like the 9060 and 57/40, whereas their new project takes on the performance side of the business.

The ‘A Different Bounce’ collection includes two models: the and the all-new Fresh Foam BBv3. The former model made a comeback last year when the Boston brand brought it out of the archives and onto the Y2K-obsessed streets. The collaborative iteration takes on a silky smooth black upper, with bright yellow accents and cream midsoles. Since it’s a lifestyle model, the 1000 represents ‘the lifestyle and off-court culture of basketball’. This of course leaves the Fresh Foam BB v3 to represent the on-court side of the game, with the performance-geared addition reversing the colour palette with an-yellow upper replete with black laces and reflective accents.

Bricks & Wood posted on their Instagram announcing the collection saying, ‘A Different Bounce is a visionary basketball concept that explores the multifaceted nature of the game—bridging both its on-court dynamics and the off-court culture that surrounds it. This initiative goes beyond basketball as just a sport; it explores the lifestyle, culture, and business opportunities that emerge from it, nurturing a lifelong passion that extends beyond our playing days.’

The Bricks & Wood x New Balance ‘A Different Bounce’ collection is set to release on February 14 for All-Star weekend, with a wider release assumed to follow. Stay locked to SF for more.
