Cecilie Bahnsen Does it Again on the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20

The love affair between and goes back to 2022, with their consisting of 50 designs that Bahnsen made on existing ASICS iterations. From there, they took things another step up, creating completely bespoke versions of the , , and . Their next project has now been revealed, with Cecilie Bahnsen sending two down the runway at last week’s Women’s Paris Fashion Week.

Both pairs have Bahnsen’s distinct design DNA, with her signature flowers making a double appearance throughout the design. The first features a creamy nude background, with black flowers painted on before being layered with metallic silver overlays. The finishing touches come in the form of 3D black flowers and a black outsole. The second pair flips the palette, with a greyish beige background, metallic silver flowers and black shiny overlays. The combination of contrasting colours and textures give an overall sense of depth and dimension to the design that Bahnsen excels at.

The two Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20s don’t have an exact release date yet, but they will land in the Northern Hemisphere’s Spring season. Stay locked for updates!
