Aside from sneaker collaborations with Nike and Converse, Comme des Garçons also have their own line of shoes. This monochromatic duo of Cross Trainers falls under their Homme Plus sub-label, and is typical contemporary CdG.

A pastiche of throwback runners and technical strollers, this design prominently features the Vibram RollinGait System midsole, an ergonomic unit that’s particularly popular in the fashion sneaker world. Up top, layered leather and mesh panels are fairly conventional – but the lacing system that tightens at the ankle is far from standard issue.
