Clarks Re-Up the Jamaica Pack
and the island of Jamaica are indelibly intertwined and last year, this fact was celebrated by the namesake . After its sell-out status, the brand will again release some specific crepe-soled favourites styled in the country’s representative green, yellow and black in a subtle way.
This pack reprises the , Desert Boot and from the original release, and each model is given special Jamaican model names. Suede and crepe – the essential building blocks of Clarks shoes – feature front and centre, with almost blacked-out colourways offset by green and yellow accents.
On the Jamaica Bee, its ankle collar is wrapped in the Jamaican flag and its lace aglets are each coloured yellow and green. Similarly, the Desert Jamaica and Jamaica Trek models feature the flag on their ankle pull tabs, plus yellow and green midsole stitching and an elaborate decoration of the uppers and heel counters. Each pair is finished with the ‘Trek Man’ printed tonally into the uppers and custom Jamaican flag fobs.
To coincide with this release, Clarks have also been celebrating the seminal book by Al Fingers – check out our interview with him .
The Jamaica Pack will be available from February 24 directly from Clarks.
