Closer Look: Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort ‘League of Legends World Championship’
League of Legends continues to reign as one of the most popular video games on the eSports circuit, the Riot Games IP growing its player base for over a decade (the game originally released in 2009).
And now, seem keen to get in on the action, linking up for one of the more high profile video game collaborations in recent memory – the Zoom Comfort ‘League of Legends World Championship’ slated for release later this month.
With the League of Legends 2020 championship beginning in Shanghai last month, the Air Jordan 1 takes aesthetic cues from the actual trophy presented to the winners.
Manufactured with iridescent 3M detailing, the Zoom-equipped AJ1 features a ‘Racer Blue’ composition that’s similar to the ‘Championship’ skins originally debuting in 2012.
Other notable details include the right shoe’s Jumpman, the classic logo encased in a pattern resembling the Summoner’s Rift map – the arena where teams will compete for $2.5 million in prize money.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort ‘League of Legends World Championship’ to land later this month.
