Closer Look: Fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle ‘Blue Void’ and ‘Wolf Grey’

Chitose Abe’s sacai continue to flex their credentials as one of the most prolific collaborators in the sneaker industry, the Japanese style prophets recently linking up with cultural behemoth KAWS and fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Now, sacai are linking up with Fragment Design, who have also been busy blowing-up online raffles with the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1.

Partnering on the industry-defining sacai x Nike LDWaffle (a sneaker that saw a starburst of colourways in 2020), the three-way collaboration looks set to arrive in two clean colourways: ‘Blue Void’ and ‘Wolf Grey’.

Of course emblazoned with sacai’s signature motifs, the LDWaffle is struck with dual Swooshes and tongues, while collaborative branding on the midsoles and tongues announce the sneaker ménage à trois. Manufactured with mesh uppers and suede overlays, the LDWaffle is still one of the more impressive silhouettes to come from team sacai.

Look for the Fragment x sacai x Nike LDWaffle ‘Blue Void’ and ‘Wolf Grey’ to release later this year.
