Closer Look: The Nike Air Force 1 React LV8 ‘All-Star’

The NBA All-Star Weekend is generally an event marked on every sneaker lover’s calendar thanks to its slew of exclusive and celebratory releases – both performance and lifestyle. As we approach the hallowed annual event, we’re seeing the 2021 releases drip through. So far, there’s been a Nike Dunk High, and an Air Foamposite One. Next up, a closer look at the Air Force 1 React LV8 ‘All-Star’.

Coming from Nike’s experimental D/MS/X department, this AF-1 switches up the iconic Uptown look with modern design cues and tech. The upper sees all-over black given textural variation with pebbled leather overlaid with patent topographic overlays. Like other AF-1 Reacts, the printed Swoosh is oversized and slung low.

Down below, the ‘Barely Green’ sole unit brings some colour and houses the React footbed for extra comfort and bounce.

Finally, the heels wear D/MS/X branding and a holographic NBA badge.

Expect these to drop at 43einhalb on March 9.
