Closer Look: The adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Mono Clay’
Kanye West’s label continues to produce a stunning amount of sneakers during the early stages of 2021, the latest Yeezy ‘Mono Pack’ introducing four brand new designs for the warmer weather ahead (in the Northern Hemisphere).
We now have a closer look at the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Mono Clay’ design, the colourway the first real reinvention of the interminable silhouette since its debut way back in 2016.
Built with a translucent one-piece upper that obscures the web cage design underneath, the new iteration of the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 foregoes Primeknit for monofilament mesh. Largely diverging from Yeezy’s signature earthy tones, the latest mono design opts for a more lively colourway that could almost be described as pastel orange (despite its ‘Clay’ namesake).
Again, the classic translucent ribbed midsole encases adi’s iconic BOOST cushioning, while the classic heel tabs and lacing system reinforce the BOOST 350 V2’s legendary DNA.
