Closer Look: The Union x Air Jordan 1 is a Special Vintage

with the teasers for , but there’s certainly nothing shifty about these fresh pics from Hypebeast. In the best look of the collaboration we’ve seen so far, the pictorial smorgasbord gives us an up-close with the sneaker’s unique vintage-inspired details.

Inspired by special vintage pieces from the Nike Sportswear range, this Air Jordan 1 features a mixed-and-matched build for a DIY-style aesthetic. The stitching is exposed and soles are slightly discoloured for well-worn look, while the accompanying apparel makes use of washed fabrics and cracked screen-printed graphics and logos to match the vintage vibes.
