CLOT and adidas Hit the Gazelle Again For Second Eye-Catching Iteration

Edison Chen's streetwear brand has embarked on an exciting new chapter after parting ways with and teaming up with . Having recently debuted in 'Halo Ivory', the CLOT is now arriving in 'Linen Khaki/Light Blue'. This Gazelle transcends the usual sneaker lineup, merging Eastern artistry with Western design sensibilities, as Chen’s dedication to ‘bridging the East and the West’ is in every detail.

Representing the 'Eastern' element of the design is a foundational blend of suede and hemp, which serves as a tribute to traditional bamboo weaving techniques. The natural linen khaki acts as a canvas for vibrant accents, with the Three Stripes transformed into dimensional beads. Crafted with precision in light, azure, and electric blue hues, these beads introduce a distinct textural twist. The bright blue stitching on the sole, heel, and tongue unifies the design, along with the khaki stitching around the laces and toe. The ‘Western’ element is represented in the incorporation of contemporary features such as the streamlined silhouette and complementary gold ‘Gazelle’ text. Together with the vibrant blue accents and dynamic beadwork, these elements harmoniously merge Western precision with Eastern artistry, achieving a balanced design.
