CLOT Dress the adidas Superstar for the 'Year of the Snake'

has swiftly settled into his partnership, and the duo continues to play on the Three Stripes' heritage with more ‘Dress’ editions of the Superstar. After imagining the silhouette through a more formal lens last year, and adidas are now building on their existing concept with a Dress Superstar, robed and ready for the Year of the Snake.

Paying homage to CLOT colabs from the past, the CLOT x adidas Dress Superstar 'LNY' kicks off with the label’s iconic Silk Royale textile upper, which arrives in black-on-black fashion. The luxe details don’t stop there either – snakeskin-style leather dresses the side Stripes, while soft suede hugs the heels. Gold accents highlight the occasion, as tiny embroidered stars weave their way across the sidewalls and gold foiled tongue tabs peek out from under the laces. Said laces also feature gold-toned hardware, as well as a red tassel hangtag that nods to the holiday. This all sits atop the Dress Superstar’s usual silhouette, down to the leather mudguards, shell toe, and distinctive chunky sole unit.

Chen has confirmed that the ‘LNY’ CLOT x adidas Dress Superstar will be hitting both Juice and adidas CONFIRMED, with the initial launch at Juice on January 10 and CONFIRMED following on January 16. Hit the links below to secure your size on the day.
