Official Images: CLOT x Nike Dunk High 'Flux'
After and officially debuted their colab last week, there's been another official debut from the two parties – namely the high-cut official images. Drawing from the concept of yin and yang, the 'Flux' aims to embody a philosophy of fluidity and harmony. This inspiration is communicated through a shimmering silver upper and special details, making for a shoe that's rich in embellishment as well as story.
Usually, classic yin/yang graphics use black and white to showcase balance, but the lenticular silver material used on the 'Flux' interprets yin and yang in a fresh way by sitting directly in the middle of the colour spectrum. This causes the chrome-style effect on the top of the upper, which is most notable on the tongue thanks to a badge that shifts between CLOT and Nike logos depending on the angle that it's viewed from. Swooshes and overlays are topstitched to add texture, and a dotted pattern appears on the insoles for a dash of hidden contrast. White laces, midsoles and outsoles round off the look.
Each pair of the CLOT x Nike Dunk High 'Flux' comes packaged in a special box and is accompanied by a single trading card from a series of six. Two special versions of the card (a limited version and an ultra-rare version) are autographed by CLOT co-founder Edison Chen.
Expect the 'Flux' to release at JUICE Store on March 18, with a potential Nike SNKRS release arriving in later weeks.
