Comme des Garçons Will Drop Their Nike Air Pegasus 2005 This Week
line is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and what better way to commemorate the occasion than by releasing a collaboration with their longtime partners . This Air Pegasus 2005 was initially unveiled last year following the Homme Plus sub-brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 showing, in two simplistic black and white colourways.
Comme des Garçons has a penchant for digging in the Team Swoosh archives older, obscure models from yesteryear. Recently, they resurrected the and , shining a light on the decades-old models for a new generation of sneakerheads. While the Air Pegasus line isn’t obscure per se, the Pegasus 2005 is somewhat a relic of a bygone era of sneaker design.
Two pairs will touch down as part of the latest Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike collection this week, and when compared to the OG they look slightly slimmed down. Each boast CDG’s signature monogram colourways, with one boasting full-black and the other in white. Rounding out the collaboration is the best part of the Air Pegasus 2005 – ‘Full Length Nike Air’ scripted on the forefoot Air bubble.
You can cop both colourways of the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Pegasus 2005 at the CDG-owned Dover Street Market on October 6. Word of a wider release hasn’t surfaced as of yet, but stay locked to SF for updates.
