Comme des Garçons Drop Their Bold Nike Cortez

After popping up at Paris Fashion Week way back in March, the bold  on the classic has finally hit retail.

The fashion-forward take on the classic runner may feature a simplistic black and white colourway, but CDG have juxtaposed the minimalist colour palette with a decidedly out-there design choice. Instead of being crafted as a runner, the design has been overhauled to feature a massive platform-style sole with black and white stripes throughout. Branding is kept to a minimum with the requisite Swoosh and Nike-branded tongue badges, while mismatched co-branded insoles complete the offering.

The Cortez comes hot on the heels of and is available now at select CDG boutiques.
