Concepts Go Crazy On the New Balance 740

Boston-born retailer have become a collaborative powerhouse over the years, and in 2024 they’ve kept the heat coming. Having racked up quite the back catalogue through projects with Nike, adidas and ASICS, imprint is looking a little closer to home again for their latest link-up, as they revisit their partnership with on the recently-retroed .

Not much is known yet about the upcoming CNCPTS x New Balance 740, but thanks to @arab_lincoln, we now have a striking first look. The retailer's latest effort kicks off with a gradient green mesh base that transitions seamlessly into darker green heel panels. Pastel pink overlays wrap around the forefoot, complemented by matching pink laces that bring an extra pop of colour. Adding to the bold design, the N logos and tongue are drenched in a particularly ostentatious orange shade. It’s an attention-grabbing colour palette to say the least, but the solid combo of hues could see it become a late contender for those SOTY lists.
